First there was Andie. When City Living released, I made Andie Spear to live in San Myshuno.
She lived in the most adorable apartment that I had created at the time. I love the apartment style living. With the creation of Andie (YA), I also gave her a younger brother(YA) and two elderly parents. Her brother was kind of a lazy guy, but he was a pretty funny sim to say the least. I played as a single household of just Andie, while her parents and brother lived in Windenburg. She went through a lot as the time passed, and I could never get over how much I loved looking at her.
With the release of parenthood, I decided to make Andie move onto the next chapter of her life. She ended up finding the perfect husband, almost as if he was made for her. She lived in a beautiful two story home that could fit a big family. She had triplets, born two girls and a boy. One of the AFAB kids ended up actually being a trans man, and Andie was the most supportive mom ever.

They had a family dog. They went on camping trips. With every release of a new addition to the sims, the Spear family was the one I played with. Seasons was a game changer. Her triplets went to college and lived at University for awhile after that pack released. This was the most fun I had had in the Sims 4 at the time.

Andie went on to the top of the interior design career. She had the perfect life. Everything a sim like her could dream of. But then the reckoning happened.
Like most things I love in life, this save ended up corrupted and ruined. I'm not entirely sure what happened, but it was played for so long that I the world was getting a little crazy. Sims 4 stagnant world vibes. It was getting boring and unfunctional. So, then I created the next save.
I knew I wanted to play as Andie, but I wanted this save to be a little more unhinged. She had lived the high life already, now it was time to be living a different kind of high life. With the addition of the Basemental mod, I knew this save was going to be an entirely different vibe than the previous one. But my good ole perfect Andie, she would never live that kind of lifestyle. So this Andie had some trait changes, and was irresponsible. Her background had changed too, because family would just make things easier. I wanted a challenge.
The idea behind this backstory Andie was she had been in foster care most of her life. She didn't have a single blood relative, nor a caregiver that was consistent when she was growing up. This idea led me to also create a sim that would soon become my favorite sim ever.
Joel Linton was created. He was a fellow foster child, and he and Andie had a lot of history (in theory). They had the Super Siblings relationship from being close when they were in the system. They were found family. Andie wouldn't let anyone push Joel around, as she was basically his big sister. Both Joel & Andie were young adults. At this point, Andie had no plans to experiment with the basemental mod. But you know who did? Joel Linton. My gorgeous little stoner. He was growing some fun herbs in his room, it was nothing but a bed and a TON of plants.
Even though more worlds were released, I was still in love with living in apartments in San Myshuno. The two sims lived in 19 Culpepper House apartment, which meant that there was a lot of room to add fellow tenant living in this same building. This would come in handy soon.
I tried to make the apartment messy, and like a place two irresponsible young adults lived. I had so much fun in this apartment.

Wait, cute neighbor? Is this guy relevant? Unfortunately, yes. This man would change not only Andis' life, but also Joel's life as well... But for better or for worse?
